Progressive Child Education

When children first begin to learn about the world around them, the concepts they find might seem simple to adults. They first notice the difference between light and dark, and they will follow shapes with their eyes. As the child passes through infancy, they know the sound of the voices of loved ones, and they can become anxious when they hear a stranger. These are all normal steps in the learning process that begins when a child is born.

As children become adapted to the world around them, each new day brings more information to them. They learn their hands are a part of them that can be moved at will, and they begin touching things around them. As they learn to crawl, walk and talk, the world brings them even more information. Over time, they experience the world without their parents. Their progressive education will eventually lead them from home to the classroom.
